isaiah payne: assistant coach
Coach Isaiah Payne, a native of Edmond, Oklahoma, joined 405 United coaching staff in the spring of 2026. A current senior at The Academy of Classical Christian Studies, he will graduate with one of the most successful careers in the history of the Griffin boys’ basketball program.
As a senior, Coach Isaiah averaged a double-double with 10.7 points and 11.3 rebounds per game, while also leading the team in steals and finishing 2nd in assists and blocks. He also led the Griffins to a pair of wins over Final Four teams Oklahoma Christian Academy and Wewoka this past season.
A four-letter winner, Coach Isaiah definitely left his mark on The Academy Griffins program, including:

Coach Matt first met Coach Isaiah when he was a middle-school athlete at one of Coach Matt’s PGC Basketball camps.
Coach Isaiah will be helping out as an assistant coach for Summit Basketball Academy this spring and summer before he goes off to college this fall at The University of Arkansas.
