Coach Emalee Smith, a native of Edmond, Oklahoma, joined 405 United Basketball coaching staff in the fall of 2026 after finishing up her collegiate playing career at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas.

As a senior, Coach Emalee saw action in all 26 games Eagles, including four starts, helping guide her team to a 13-13 final record. She was also a three-time ASC Academic All-Conference Team selection during her college career.

Prior to playing college basketball, Coach Emalee was a standout player at Deer Creek high school where she was voted team captain by her teammates her senior year.

She also spends her summers working as a Basket Instructor for PGC Basketball, which is where she and Coach Matt first met.
