Fresh off his first season of college coaching, Coach Nick Bonifay is rejoining the 405 United Coaching staff for the summer of 2026 as the program's Camp Coordinator and a Lead Coach. This past year he served as an assistant coach at the University of Montevallo (Alabama) where he helped lead the Falcons to a 22-9 overall record and the 2nd round of the NCAA D2 national tournament.

Prior to his time a Montevallo, Coach Nick was a part of the original 405 United Basketball coaching staff while finishing up his collegiate playing career at Oklahoma City University. He played in 97 games for the Stars and recorded four starts. During the 2024-25 season, he totaled 53 points, 26 rebounds, 25 assists, and 12 steals, while averaging 11.2 minutes per game. Bonifay was named to the Sooner Athletic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, Academic All-SAC Team, SAC Scholar Athlete list, and NAIA Scholar-Athlete list.

After this summer Coach Nick will return to coaching at the college level, as he has recently accepted a job on staff with the men's team at Auburn University at Montgomery for the 2026-27 season.
